FOX HOUSE
Established in 2010, FOX HOUSE has the unique, fashion forward gal in mind. Owner, Tobi Salver, wanted to create an online boutique where a woman with a distinctive style can come to, and find anything from a killer black velvet 80s dress, to a fab new color splashed jumper. In our minds, its not what you have in your wardrobe, but how you piece it together. A lovely new day dress, paired with vintage oxford shoes, add a chainmail vintage messenger bag and killer shades, and you’ve got yourself a radical getup. Here at FOX HOUSE, we give women from across the world a one stop shop to purchase the necessary wardrobe pieces to make their outfit a cut above the rest. Having our base in south Florida, we have access to some of the best vintage buying there is. Many of our clothes come from estate sales from Coral Gables to West Palm Beach, and anywhere in between. We also have many local collectors we get our products from. Tobi also travels around the country, from Los Angeles to New York, to pick up new and vintage products. And even if you arent in the market to purchase, allow our fantastic fashion blog to give you inspiration on piecing together your own rockin outfit!
THE OWNER
Tobi Salver has always had fashion, art, and design in her heart. Growing up in South Florida, she first began her career as an artist with her grandmother, who was a well known artist, fashion and interior designer in Miami Beach. Watching her grandmother design amazing Victorian dresses for her for Halloween, and dressing up in her incredible unique pieces that she designed, which were carried in Henri Bendel, New Yorks legendary Fifth Avenue boutique, is where it all began. You can find Tobi and her Fox House team, rummaging through hundreds of articles of clothing to find that one unique piece, to searching high and low for new designers to carry at her store. Not only does she help create the layout and design of the website, but she also styles, shoots, and picks the locations for all of the photos. A true jack of all (design) trades, Tobi Salver has brought her love of individualistic fashion and design to women around the world. |
